CHAPTER 2
" BEEEP
BEEEP
BEEEP
" I opened my eyelids and peered around my room. I looked at the alarm clock with obvious distaste. I slammed my hand down on the snooze button, and the annoying beep ceased to exists. Groaning and sitting up, I looked over in the bathroom, at the mirror. Damn. I looked like shit. Taking one more look at the alarm clock, I got up and went over to the bathroom. I undressed quickly from my boxers, and scratched at a little bug bite on my chest, getting ready for a nice, long overdue hot shower.
I have to say that showers are probably one of the most erotic things you can do, without actually engaging in sex. The hot water pouring over your tense muscles, the steam billowing out of the shower and clinging to the glass. It's really arousing. Needless to say, I helped my neglected manhood in releasing itself. I thought about that girl, Sage, her blonde hair, her face all flushed and moaning underneath me, and that set me off right there. After a minute or two of pumping, I was done and I grunted as I came. " Damn
! "
Shampooing and conditioning my hair afterwards, then rinsing my body, I hummed to myself. Yes, I hum, and I don't hum some stupid things like ' Itsy Bitsy Giraffe " or whatever it's called. I was humming to ' The Bird and The Worm ' By The Used. And if you don't like that song, you can just stop reading this story, because you suck.
Anyway, I turned the water off afterwards, drying myself off and getting dressed. I wasn't particularly picky on what I wore, but I do like to look nice. " Hey hon, you up? " My mom called into the room, through the closed and locked door of my bedroom. " Yeah, I'm getting dressed, ma'. " I say and I hear her scurry off. I love my mom, I really do, but she has to work all the time and it's really hard to stay in touch with her. So usually we have little awkward conversations over breakfast, and sometimes dinner, when she's there.
I pulled on a really old and tattered pair of jeans, and a psychedelic t-shirt, with a whole bunch of patterns and colors that would send even the slightest recipient into epilepsy. Grabbing my bag, and slipping on a pair of red converse, I switch off my light and hop down the stairs. " Bye mom, I'll see you later. " I said, coming into the kitchen, where she was eating breakfast, and I kissing her on the cheek. " I was going to give you a ride, though honey. " She smiled at me. " I'm just gonna catch the bus. " I grabbed a vitamin water from the fridge and a large apple from the basket and saluted my mom. " Love 'ya, mom. " She called out a 'love you too' as I almost slammed the door in excitement on the way out.
I missed the bus, But at the same time, I guess I didn't. You can have some real fun on the bus with your friends. But since I didn't have any friends, I guess it was going to be a little suckish. I'll have to look around the bus for a seat, which there usually isn't a free one which means you have to sit with someone you have absolutely no idea who they are. I lightly jogged down to the bus stop, which was two blocks away or so. It felt nice to be running again. " Man, I can't wait to get into the soccer team. " There were a couple of kids already at the bus stop, but none of them said hi to my or anything.
Listening to my iPod, the bus came shortly after. The bus driver was a really old crusty man, with really dark skin and a very country accent. " Y'all need to git on thuh bus now, ya' hear? " He said, even though he'd only just opened up the door. He was jumping in his seat a little, obvious to get a move on. I obliged and hopped up the few stepped onto the bus. Damn was I in luck. There were several seats open, and I went to the one nearest the front of the bus. I set my backpack next to me, as to ward off anybody who'd might want to sit there, and leaned back.
I watched the neighborhood go by, the nicely made homes all evenly spaced out, with nice cars in the driveways. All right, I'm not gonna lie, my family is pretty wealthy. You see, my dad is some kind of guy who handles stocks, and makes a lot of money, and my mom is a wedding planner, and owns over 20 shops all over the country. My dad is really never home, and I'm glad for it because he's a total asshole. He thinks I'm not worthy of being his son or something, so he's always ' disappointed in me'. Whatever. Like I care. We left the neighborhood and went down what almost looked like a dirt road, but you could tell it wasn't.
There were lots of houses on this street, but when the bus stopped at the end of the road and the door opened, I sneezed, and dropped all of my stuff. " Shit
" I cursed silently and bend over in my seat to pick it all up, and by the time I get all of my stuff back up, the bus is already moving and we're heading off towards school, and off the old road. I didn't get a good look at any of the houses, because they were way back from the road. There was one person standing in the isle when I sat up. They had long blonde hair and they were slim. " Sage! " I said, waving and smiling. She was looking for a place to sit so I moved my pack to the floor in front of me and waved for her to come sit with me. She smiled slightly and walked over.
When she sat down, a wave of caramel smelling perfume or shampoo or something wafted over to me. I tried not to make it obvious, but I took a deep breath of it. Damn. She smelled good. I mean really good.
" Thanks Jakobi. I was afraid I'd have to go in the back and get picked on by the seniors. " She smiled and laughed a little. " Oh, it's no problem. I had room anyways. " I looked into her eyes as I talked, it was a kind of respect thing around my family. " Well, good morning, I guess. " Sage nodded her little blonde head, her bright green eyes flashing in appreciation. " Yes, good morning. " She looked away and went back to her book. I respected her silence and went back to my iPod and would occasionally say something, while she read her book.
The bus ride ended and I was a bit disappointed when it did, because it was kind of nice carrying out a little conversation with Sage. She had a really nice voice, and it was quiet. I liked that. I got off of the bus with her and smiled as she went the other way while I headed to my locker. It was only my second day here, but my locker was almost completely full of books. I sighed and grabbed my books for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd period and closed the locker, twisting the lock.
Mrs. McCallen smiled and waved at me, and I saluted. " Mornin' Mrs. McCallen. " I said, to be polite and she smiled back and nodded. " Good morning to you too, Jakobi. " I sat down at the same seat I sat at before, and before long the classroom was full and the bell rang for first period. Again, the day passed quickly, and I was at lunch again. This time, I made sure that I was looking where I was going when I came out of the lunch line and made my way over to that back table that nobody was sitting at.
Lunch was very uneventful, except for the fact that I saw Sage with a group of kids at another table, laughing and being herself. " Well, I guess maybe I'll sit there one day, too. " I said to myself, munching on my fruit, which was the only thing I bought, except for a vitamin water, again. I never really ate anything unhealthy, only on occasions, so I'm pretty skinny. And it kind of runs in the family, well what little left of it there is.
Sage looked over at me, seeing me looking at her and smiled and waved. I smiled, shyly and blushed, waving back. She looked as though she was laughing a little and then looked at me for a few seconds before returning to her group. Damn she was too cute. I shook my head and continued with my lunch, wondering if I'd ever be able to get to know her better.
For the next few classes, I had little fantasies of being Sage's friend, and sometimes something further. After my last class, and the bell rang, I ran towards the gym, and handed the coach my soccer form. " Alright then, Jakobi. Practice starts next Tuesday, be there right after school, 'ya hear? " I smiled and nodded. " Yes sir, see you there! " I called, running to catch the bus. I got on just in time, and the doors closed behind me.
I must've been really frickin' lucky today because the only seat open was with Sage. I grinned wildly and sat down next to her. " Hey Sage. I guess we keep running into each other. " She laughed, surprisingly, and quietly, and I realized her voice was a bit deeper than most girls, but that was fine, it sounded really nice. " I guess, yes, Jakobi. You're in luck, huh? " She teased, a joking smile on her face. Wow, she was really beautiful. I shrugged t o keep the joke up. " I guess it means we are supposed to be friends. " I held out my hand. " What about it? " I asked.
The next few moments were a little nerve-filled, but then she laughed again and took it, her soft and slightly warm hands shaking mine. " I guess. Well the, new friend, how about we hang out this weekend? " She suddenly asked, being a bit forward, which threw me off. " O-okay. When and where? " I turned in the seat, so I could look at her more, and accidentally dropped my bag onto the floor. " Oh, one second, sorry. " I said, leaning over and grabbing the bag. This girl must play like sports or something because her legs are think, from what I can see under the jeans. " Alright, continue? " I said, after I got up, sitting the bag on my lap so I could keep track of it.
Her blond hair swished a little in the breeze coming from a window farther up, and she tucked t behind her ears like it was nothing. " Hmm
how about, later this afternoon, at the skate park? Or do you know where that is? " I nodded, I saw it the other day when we got here, on Tuesday. " Yeah, around 5 or so, so like in an hour? " I asked, to confirm. " Yup. Oh, here's my stop. " She said and I got up, for her to get past me. Her but pressed firmly against my lap and I caught my breath in my throat. ' Damn! ' I fought to keep myself under control, and smiled at her when she got into the isle. " See you then
Jakobi. " She said, winking and getting off of the bus.
I almost died right then in there. " Well
. This could possibly bee the best school year I have ever had, so far. " I whispered to myself as I sat back down in my seat and waited for my stop.
If only I knew how horribly misconceived that notion was.
